Coming from the musical world of the extremely hard edged kick ass rocking genres, I’ve been pretty impartial to Tricky’s Trip Hop, dark, ambient, electronica, sprechgesang stylings!
So tonight, in the form of a Valentine’s Day present from my partner, (thanks babe!) we attended the Tricky gig at Melbourne’s gorgeous Forum Theatre.

I had applied for a Die Antwoord photo-pass but knowing my luck, I sure as hell was not expecting to secure one.
Surprisingly, I got the pass and I was eagerly awaiting this gig as I have been a fan of the band for a while and felt that it would be a kick ass opportunity to photograph a band that is going to be HUGE in a couple of years. Mark my words!
