Everything I stand for as a designer and photographer has been influenced by this man’s vision, business acumen and passion. Every design I have ever created be it personal or for my career has been made with an Apple product – and always will.

The world lost a genius today. The world lost a hero.

I humbly thank you Steve for your influence and passion. And thank you for making Apple the best computing experience of my life.

Rest in peace.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The ones who see things differently. While some may see crazy, we see genius.” – Steve Jobs

Believe me when I say, the absolutely last thing I wanted to do was to implement a new design/theme for Visceral Industry. Especially when I spent months on the prior version.

After releasing Version II to the wild, I began to notice it was awfully clunky and slow and just was not performing how I wanted it to.

Back to the drawing board.

After a couple of failed attempts, here we are. I hope you like it. In all honesty, visually, it isn’t too much a departure from the previous version, but the mechanics of it all are vastly different and hopefully, not as sluggish as before!

As always, enjoy!

(Version I 2009 – 2010)
Version I of the Visceral Industry was based on a WordPress theme I created from scratch and utilised Slideshow Pro as a portfolio viewer. I found Slideshow Pro a tremendous amount of work to set up and updates were both time consuming and required a great deal of work to maintain.

(Version II 2011)
Version II of the Visceral Industry was created using the LondonCreative WordPress Theme. I edited the theme as much as possible to give it as unique a look as I possibly could. Each post featured very large versions of my photo to really push the visual aspect of each photo. I enjoyed this version of the site, but found it to be incredibly clunky and slow so it was time for a change.
